The Universal Fair of The "Alecrim"
Since June 18, 1920, traditionally takes place on Saturdays, the free fair of the "Alecrim" important entrepot of informal trade in the city of Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
Divided into several sectors, from food, clothing, tools and even live animals, this fair is one of the busiest in the city, full of colors and contrasts, both in its physical space, and in its surroundings.
This space reflects the traditional culture and gastronomic diversity of the city, evidenced in its products marketed in the language used by sellers to attract buyers' attention, gestures, working conditions and behavior of people attending the fair.
