My kind of gun control
I think if you asked a Navy seal how to counter deadly force he would say deadlier force. The newtown shooter killed the legal owner of the weapons. Prior to that was the mall shooter who stole his weapons from a friend. Then there was the guy who shot the firemen and I believe a relative illegally bought weapons for him. There are already gun control laws on the books. which ones did any of these people obey, starting with the law against murder. If Obama is going to actually help people he should make it easier for people to protect themselves. I think we need a nation "open carry" law. Having teachers carry weapons may or may not be practical. there were at least a couple teachers I knew that I'm glad were not armed lol. but how about retired military volunteers. what about retasking some reservists to a rotating protection service schedule. people will protect valuables like money, gold and jewels with armed guards, why not something that we say is more valuable.
