    Traffic.Chaos in North East Lincolnshire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter jonbyrne captured this video of freezing conditions and traffic jams backing up roads in Cleethorpes, northern England. "This is the first snow we have had this winter," he said. "The traffic was caused by people leaving work for home and delays caused by the heavy snowfall on a hill, which links the road to the town of Cleethorpes itself." Freezing weather has hit much of the UK and further afield in Europe in recent days.

    Snow and wintry conditions cause traffic chaos on Grimsby Road, the main road linking Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Queues backed up as far as 2 miles and 5 minute journeys lasted close to an hour.

     

    Parked cars in side streets are snowed under.
