South Africa's Rhinos - Going, going.....gone?
Between 2000 and 2007 an average of 12 rhinos were killed per year in South Africa. In 2012 over 600 rhino were poached in South Africa!!!!! There has been a MASSIVE increase in rhino poaching in about the last 3 years. The poachers have better technology and more money than the people trying to stop it. How to you fight poachers with Asian companies funding them - poachers with helicopters, AK47s and night vision goggles?
These photos are a tribute to the last rhinos.
