Eli Lilly - Fess Up on DES!
The Eli Lilly petition is moving fast. The momentum is quickly moving around the world: 27 countries and 37 states! The focus is to keep the attention on Lilly's actions after the first DES breast cancer case has settled. Eli Lilly must deal with the rest of the DES daughters fairly. Shame on them if l they continue to drag them through unnecessary litigation.
DES exposed around the world are mobilizing and shaping public opinion on this serious medical error that has affected millions around the world! Lilly is only afraid of two things: 1) Bad press that leads to decline in stock, harming their bottom-line; 2) increase in liability from additional lawsuits in DES breast cancer filed by other lawyers who see the first settlement as a success. The media attention focused on the Fecho sisters trial was one of the big reasons why Lilly settled out so quickly.
During the trial, the Fencho sisters were graciously supported by DES daughter like Patricia, Arline, Irene, Janet and other supporters like Caitlin and her mother who traveled far to attend on the first day. But, it is not too late to make our cause known. Join the DES exposed and sign the petition “Eli Lilly - Fess Up on DES” There has been nothing as important that has occurred in nearly 20 years now to DES victims that has captivated the attention of the nation and the medical community as this case. This petition was created by a fellow DES daughter, for DES daughters. Like the trial, we believe that this petition is relevant and necessary for the DES community to know about so they too can participate. Time is of the essence, we ask you to act now!
Whether there will be fair DES breast cancer compensation for future victims (for the next 15 years), improved medical care for DES daughters and grandchildren in DES breast cancer/reproductive cancer awareness, in addition to whether or not further research interest/funding will be invested into DES breast cancer and third-generation depends upon how we shape public opinion, right now. DES daughters are the best evidence that in utero endocrine disrupting chemicals causes breast cancer and the devastating consequences of trampled women's health rights.
