Fusion Power
Dear Mr President,
Currently the next generation of power plant is being built in Cadarache, France by ITER(International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor). This is a Fusion power plant which uses seawater to turn 50 megawatts into 250. The reactor simulates the sun and is much much much safer than conventional nuclear power which is Fission. I'm begging you Mr. President to bring this to the U.S. . The French, Japanese and the South Koreans who make up ITER will have the monopoly on this technology and therefore have energy that is clean and ridiculously cheap. You and I both want to secure the U.S.'s energy future and Fusion power will do just that for a couple generations. If nothing is done we will be left behind, while the rest of the world is brighter than ever.
