Winter Piper Cub Flying
In Hartford, WI we have a small very active airport with antique tailwheel planes flying almost everyday. One of the guys that just got his private pilots license decided to have an impromptu fly in on a lake at his farm. Most of us fly Piper Cub airplanes and in the winter we put ski's on them for extra fun. Folks were ice fishing, standing by the fire pit, landing their planes on the lake using ski's and some folks snowmobiled over. We all shared a meal of sloppy joes and scalloped potatoes and some great desserts. It was a great winter Saturday in Wisconsin!
