Gov. Andrew Cuomo has found a way to get past the 2nd amendment's guarantee of Americans' right to defend themselves.

How many semi-auto pistols do you know that has a clip (magazine) holding ten rounds or more? Well, under Cuomo's new law you will only be legal if you have a clip holding 7 rounds, making the 10 round clips illegal. If you own a Browning(example) with a 10 round clip you will be breaking the law. Browning does not make seven round clips for its full-size pistols so you will own a useless piece of metal.
Is this the way Obama will get past the 2nd amendment?

"Assault weapons -- defined as any rifle with a "military style" feature, such as a bayonet or a telescoping stock -- that are currently owned would be grandfathered and would have to be registered with the state. Magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds and manufactured before 1994, which are currently legal, would have to be turned over to authorities or sold out of state within one year. If a magazine has a capacity between eight and 10, it would have to be retrofitted to only hold seven rounds."
