    Americans wrong on 2nd amendment

    The second amendment was written to ensure that trained civilian militias had protection, should government turn corrupt. The amendment does not give untrained civilians the right to own guns. Civilian militias are not practical anymore. Despite what the NRA says, having the right to own an AR-15 is not granted by the second amendment. We have a well regulated militia and do not live under a dictatorship like gun rights advocates would have you believe.
