    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MelissaF told me, 'I think it's a great start. There is going to be heavy lobbying by the NRA and other advocate groups, so I think Obama did the right thing by signing executive orders. These kind of common sense issues don't need to be a political dog fight. I support the Second Amendment, but there need to be lines drawn.'

    I think it was long over due to get any kind of common sense gun control in the U.S.  Something so simple as Universal background checks and limiting high capacity magazines is just common sense.

     

    The NRA has been too big for too long and it's about time we all stood up and say ENOUGH!
