Gun control debate: Background checks |
Piers, here you go
Piers Morgan, There are two main points to Americans owning AR rifles. 1) We need to be armed at the very least, the same level as the American government forces as required by law. Constitutional law that is. We are to arm ourselves against a government takeover that, if as you imply is "absurd", would have never have happened the many times it has in history. 2) We WANT them. We are Americans, we have the right to nearly anything we want and semi-auto rifles of a certain style are very low on the controversial side of things because they are a small item. As it is, Americans would have a very hard time overthrowing the government if we needed to, our rights are already infringed by that fact. You wanna talk more about this, give me a call or fly me out for a proper debate where you do not interrupt and get heated. -Lawrence Garner
