    One ID for Smart Farmer in Thailand

     
    The smart partnership between farmers, the Ministry of ICT and the agriculture agencies will enable farmers in Thailand immediate access to government services, welfare and other benefits by using their national identity cards.

    The Government will integrate registered farmer database within the system as part of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's initiative for modernization and efficiency.

    The "Smart Farmer" program will help to improve the quality of life for farmers throughout the country.

    With the database, the Government will assist in the planning for farmers based on their strength and level of competency, in order to provide best support that would enhance their production to go accordance to Thailand’s development and marketing plan for farmers.
