Fake 'Faith Healer’ Arrested For Raping Minor Girl in Kashmir
Anantnag, Jan, 17: Police today arrested fake faith healer who allegedly raped a 13 year old girl in south Kashmir’s Mattan area before months. This Shocking and shameful revelation has come to fore 13-year- old girl was declared pregnant by doctors after she was admitted in the hospital.
”The 13 year old girl (name withheld) was admitted in hospital late Tuesday evening after she complained of abdominal pain to her parents,” a police official said adding that after thorough check up, doctors declared her pregnant.
While questioning, the victim revealed that a person known as “Pir sahib” who frequently used to visit their home issued them amulets regularly. Besides he used to do some superstitious stuff which they could not understand, the official said.
Mattan Police immediately swung into action and arrested the accused person identified as Muhammad Yusuf Pir, resident of Ashmuqam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, he said.
“A case has been registered in this regard under FIR number 02/2013 under section 376 RPC and further investigations taken up”, the official added.
Meanwhile, this shameful revelation has shocked the whole area and now people are demanding strict punishment for the fake faith healer.
