    Our Desert Weather here in the Coachella Valley has been colder then I can ever remember...
    My wife told me to look out the window yesterday morning and I saw three birds standing on top of their water in the bird bath...they were trying to chip it loose in order to drink.
    I was a strange site here in the desert. I took the ice off and measured it it was 1/4" thick! I showed the picture to my daughter who wanted to know what that piece of glass was.
    This is way too much for a desert resident.
