    Cooloongup Man Shot In Rockingham Brawl

    Over 20 people were involved in a fight in Rockingham last night and a man was shot.

     

    The 23 year old man drove himself off to Rockingham Hospital after he was shot in the chest by a person along with a large group of angry people armed with spades and baseball bats that became involved in a fight in Cooloongup, Rockingham in Western Australia.

     

    The shooting happened on Annean Street in Cooloongup in Rockingham. The area is usually quiet with very little gun incidents.

     

    At 7.30pm, police received reports of people fighting with shovels and baseball bats. Minutes later gun shots were reported.

     

    At 8:30pm police were informed of a patient admitted to Rockingham Hospital with a gunshot wound. The man was then transferred to Royal Perth Hospital.

     

    The man is in a serious but stable condition. He is believed connected with an outlaw motorcycle group.

     

    Police are investigating.
