    My girlfriend came to visit me in California. She had just gone through an extremely tough time in her life and I think once her feet hit the sand, the water rising to her ankles - it was as if her burdens had finally dissipated. The tide lowered revealing her new position, not only in the sand, but in her life.  It was an incredible moment.
