Armstrong doesn't deserve a platform
If Lance Armstrong was serious about his contrition, he should be making face to face apologies to the parties he harmed by lying. He should not be given a guest shot on Oprah any more than any of the other athletes who have cheated along the way.
He should be making serious restitution to all the people he has harmed, bullied and defamed. They all have defamation suits and he should be prosecuted for the damages he caused to the reputations of people along the way who came forward and told the truth. This guy made millions of dollars by cheating. He is no better than Bernie Madoff. He defrauded the US Postal System and other sponsoring corporations out of millions of dollars.
The only reporting should be court results and how much good he is doing for the people he damaged and ruined. He should be banned from competing in any sporting event for life, how would he credibly assure the other competitors he isn't cheating now? It is time for Lance to shut up, make restitution and go away form the public life.
