Why I raise my kids with God
Why I raise my kids with God
As my children have grown to be toddlers and two of them teenagers they have loud me with questions about God, heaven, angels, creation etc. The most beautiful moments in my life together with our kids is teaching them about everything they do not understand about God.
Through their life we have thought them about God, about his Word and his love, like most Christian parents, I love my children so much that I wouldn’t waste any time teaching them how real God is, I want them to know that with God is everything, I will always be proud that the word of God is there light and I tuck my time teaching them.
One day they will realize that God has always protect them and guide them in their life, they will also learn that they can trust God on everything they do and everything they undertake, knowing that God is real and not a fairy tale.
Honesty, I know that through all their life they will be thankful that their parents guide them in the right direction and the right path. We are true believers, our friends, family and neighbors know that our house and I serve the Lord God all the time just like others like us serve God, we know that our kids will be the next generation of good caring faithful Christian that this nation needs, men and women of faith and wisdom to teach others the truth about their creator.
Here are the fruits of raising my kids with God
• God our father loves those that love him and teaches them of his love
He has put his commandments in our hearts and seed; all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
• God haves everything in control
You have heard: Where is God? Even we don’t understand how God moves through our life’s we know that he is always in control, he knows everything and is every ware, those who search for him will surely find him, and win we found him we may ask anything we wish to know and he will show you his love and power to do all things. This makes more since thing logic
• God is a just God
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. He is a God that teaches to do good to live in righteousness to stay away from evil to follow his commandments, and he will answer all your prayers if you can believe. He haves great respect for your actions and will and shows you the right path to follow.
• God is my refuge and my fortress
Psalm 91
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that layeth waste at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation,
10 there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample underfoot.
14 “Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”
• God is omnipresent
Psalm 139
1 O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.
5 You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!
7 I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
19 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked! Get out of my life, you murderers!
20 They blaspheme you; your enemies misuse your name.
21 O LORD, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you? Shouldn’t I despise those who oppose you?
22 Yes, I hate them with total hatred, for your enemies are my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
• God is our teacher and our example
O God, you have taught me from my earliest childhood, and I constantly tell others about the wonderful things you do.
18 Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation,
your mighty miracles to all who come after me.
19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things.
Who can compare with you, O God?
20 You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.
21 You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.
• “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
I cannot describe how thankful I am to God for what he gave me his eternal life and love, I can understand how I can give all my care and love to my children but God left his throne and glory just to save me, he suffered for my transgressions and shed his blood for me, tuck away all my sins and gave me eternal life; That’s what I call love and not selfishness or Narcissism.
