Snowboarding down the streets of Paris
An historic snowstorm hit Paris, France over the weekend. I haven't seen an official tally, but I estimate 4 to 6 inches have fallen and there is more in the forecast. While touring the Montmartre neighborhood we came upon some locals taking advantage of the rare snowfall and the hills which the area is known for to do some snow boarding. This was shot using my iPhone on Rue de L'abreuvoir, Sunday Jan. 20 around 3:30 pm local time. The area was packed with people, families, sledding and building snowmen. Our guide said that on a normal Sunday the area is not nearly as packed!
