    Wave Bows in San Diego

    San Diego has has beautiful weather and larger then normal surf . These two combined can cause these beautiful colors on the waves. I could not find an official name for them so coined the phrase " Wave Bows"

    These multi colored rainbows are formed by water droplets being sprayed backwards off the top of the wave by the offshore breeze....The principle is the same as a rainbow but coming off a wave. A Wave Bow....
