    Alison Thompson Gives Another Report From The Rockaways

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DougKuntz said the situation remains dire in Long Island due to Sandy: 'Nobody is going door to door, checking, like was the case early on in this disaster, and the number of volunteers that are, are growing smaller in numbers all the time.' He has been chronicling documentarian Alison Thompson's activism for Sandy relief.

    Three days after Congress passes The Sandy Relief Bill, as critical needs continue in the New York area, Third Wave Volunteer Alison Thompson gives a second report from The Rockaways.

        As the first sustained cold weather settles into the area, thousands upon thousands remain without heat and electric.
