    Obama's inauguration: In the crowd

    Jumbotron Video Quality Was Terrible

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     wilson1974 and others in the overflow area near the Washington Monument at the inauguration were disappointed by the garbled video and audio feeds on the large screen. "It was pretty much impossible to make out what they were saying," he said. "People were leaving, I think looking for another [screen]."

"I wanted to see the speech. I kind of wished I was home on my couch," the Arlington, Virginia resident added.

I was on the mall near the Washington Monument, Constitution Avenue side. The Jumbotron just didn't work. No one could follow the inauguration address. This is a clip of what it was like to watch the Jumbotron during the swearing in. I shot this with an HD camera.
