Tribute to the Newton children and to all all those whose wounds have made fresh
Sudden tragedy brings many different responses. I stand and applaud the Newton child"s choir that formed to sing in honor of their friends
I am a Canadian and therefore did not experience 911 from the prospective of an American.I can only watch on and weep for the thousands lost that day.
when the children died in Newton it took me back to 911 and not only the event but the lives that are still affected today for one act of terroism
As a mom who lost her daughter to a train crash two years ago I know the pain is always there, the loss felt in places deep inside me I never knew were there.
The Newton tragedy refreshed in me our grief at the loss of our daughter so instantly; so final.
Then I remembered all the prayers that went up for the 911 families and how the sorrow of Newton would only refresh their sorrow. So today as a Canadian I not only pray comfort for each of you and how your lives have been changed forever in Newton yet also those families whose wounds has been made fresh by this tragedy;to the 911 victims and to the courageous men and women who fight every day for those who cannot fight for themselves but want help to learn how.
I have been watching a tv series called Army wives and just like them I got a knock on the door that changed my life. I want to pay tribute to Newton but also to all the fresh wounds opened up in all those of whose lives were changed by 911 and every mom, dad, wife, son, grandmother,or daughter that have their lives changed by a knock at the door.
