THE RED RUBY GOWN & DIAMOND RING THAT HELD THE GOWN TOGETHER WAS MADE BY DESIGNER KIMBERLY MCDONALD.
"I think it's only fair to shine some light on designer Kimberly McDonlad for her small but very important part in the DESIGN of the jewelry that was made to hold the gown together. The diamond brooch may have been the 10 percent in the gown, but her part will do down in history, although Jason Wu was given the honor to have his gown worn by the First Lady Michelle Obama, the First Lady in fact did use the man who got it right the first time, and The First Lady did in fact use some new talent, although it was a small piece of handmade diamond jewelry, it was a very important part.....in so many ways."- Mychaeltodd
