    this is Mon Corpuz, founder of the Black Pencil Project, and a modern day Filipino hero,giving the first ever photography workshop in Jolo, Sulu. This undertaking became possible through the efforts of the Philippine Marines, The local youth group KBS, the local government, JCI-Jolo, the participating schools, and other members of the community.it is also through him that the PEACE MURAL became possible.
