    Last day of 2012 , last flight of 2012 over Central highlands Afghanistan

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Our iReporter IqbalMustan took some stunning pictures of the central highlands of Afghanistan from above. He was traveling from Nili, a city in central Afghanistan to the capital city of Kabul by a plane. He described the flight as being a "little scary" but compared the experience to "a sci-fi movie." He said he made a similar journey by car a year before. He saw all the same views from the ground last time but he described the journey above the highlands as a "really amazing experience." His first photo was selected as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for March 8, 2013.

    On the last day of 2012 , I flow to Kabul from Nili 'Provincial capital of Daikundi' , The last flight took 56 minutes to reach Kabul via Pactec planes. The white beauty which I noticed during the flight , I tried to shot and save them via my Camera , I hope , I could have done it.
    Anyways Central highland Afghanistan 'Hazaristan' is mountainous area , it's every season has it's own amazing beauty.
