Pongsapat: Promises of Better Infrastructure for Bangkok

Governor candidate, Pongsapat Pongcharoen wasted no time after drawing his election number 9, which is considered by many as a good sign.

On Tuesday, he promised to work towards the upgrading of public sanitation in the city. Pongsapat had promised to cater to the concerns of Bangkokians and tourists on the neglected matter of the public toilets.

In fact he plans to build pubic toilets at all 4,900 bus tops in the city if he is elected as the next Bangkok governor.

Pongsapat also promised to set up thirty eight around-the-clock outlets at district offices to serve Bangkokians at all times. The previous administration led by Sukhumbhand Paribatra had failed to solve the urban flooding, and Pongsapat has indicated more innovative approaches in managing what is seen as a problem for the residents and business communities.

It seems, skepticism is a challenge for all the 18 candidates for the upcoming election. In the eyes of many, Pongsapat intends to deliver on his campaign promises.
