Obama's inauguration: In the crowd |
Presidential Entourage Parade Route
Before anyone could enter the parade route we were required to go through a search of our belongings and a metal scan. We found a good spot down near the White House back yard near the guard gate's. As the President and First Lady came by we saw her wave out the windows nearest our side of the road. The President was on the opposite side waving. We we told they did get out and walk along the route a couple of blocks from where we were standing. After waiting almost four hours for the moment, most of us were disapointed but understood it was the end of the parade route and they still an incredibly long afternoon and evening ahead of them.
