Obama's inauguration: In the crowd |
She's a Grand Old Flag
There was no shortage of the American Flag on the National Mall for Inauguration Day. All over the city the Red White and Blue waved in the cold Januray wind. For those that did not bring a flag from home or purchase one one from the many vendors, volunteers walked about handing out flags to each and every person participating in the festivites of the day. It was quite the sight to see as the cameras panned the crowd and a absolute sea of "Old Glory's" colors painted the National Mall, from the Capitol to the Washington Monument.
