    Swept under the rug

Dear CNN Ireport team, I would just like to vent about the recent sexual battery or sexual assault, (no one seems to know), investigation of Micheal Crabtree. I cannot believe that there are hardly any national news stories about this subject. I have read a few articles here in our local papers, and found one local news station that glossed over it. Is football in America, and the SFPD such  powerful entities that anyone who challenges is destroyed? I realize you are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but to barely mention this in the news is negligent. I have read comments from others after a news article, and find people calling this young women a whore, gold-digger, etc. Why is it her fault? Is it because he is a star football player, and going on to the Superbowl this year. He can get a free pass until after the 49er's win? Which by the way I am a major fan, but I believe in justice. I heard one question asked of the coach after they won the NFC championship Sunday, and it was brief. The article I read did say Crabtree is cooperating fully, and answered questions with his lawyer present the other day. Crabtree was allowed to play in the NFC championship game, and will also play in the Superbowl. Really? Does it take this long for the District Attorneys office to investigate and make a decision? I would like to also add that the Niners played as if something was bothering the entire team on Sunday. What was it? I realize they usually do better in the 3rd, and 4th quarters, but team moral had to be low. No one is allowed to talk of it. How is Crabtree a team player if he did this act, and had no regard for the consequences to his team. There are two sides to every story. I just wish somebody would get to the bottom of it. Is an investigation that started on 1/13/13 dragging on until 2/3/13? Or should I say 2/4/13? That way answers will come after the big historic game with no tarnish to the Superbowl. I wish to remain anonymous please. This is football, and passionate crazy people will do harm to those who disagree with popular opinion over players.    Thanks for your time, Worried fan
