    Ko'olau Mountains, from both sides

    An ex Viet Nam buddy of mine is both a pilot and chopper mechanic.
    He took us up over the Ko'olau Mountains of Hawaii one day, But I thought, I've looked at these mountains for 30 years now, and I thought it's nice to have seen them from both sides.

    And I don't know which is prettier. Lots of choppers crash in Hawaii, so I only go up with people I really know. This man has two Hueys. One was in pieces on the ground being over-hauled. This one, he just finished fixing and it was a test flight. Everything is trust...right?
    But I trust him cause he's done this hundreds of times.
