CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jason0802 and his roommate were at Sunday’s Falcons game when Atlanta lost to the San Francisco 49ers. As they were walking away from the stadium, they noticed a fight breaking out on the 'jam-packed sidewalk' outside the Georgia Dome. He says an older man and his wife, both 49ers fans, were targeted. 'They were saying something about the Falcons and 'Good luck next year.' The other guy said, 'Move out of my way.' He said, 'I have nowhere to go.'' After that, the Falcons fan threw the first punch, according to jason0802. Then, the 49ers fan pulled a knife. Police came minutes later and started pepper spraying.

Dome officials say it didn't involve people from the game, though they may have been in the vicinity because of the game. But the dispute may have been over food, not football.

'The older guy looked like he was handling himself. I was wondering if the police were going to come break it up. When he pulled out the knife, I didn’t want to break it up and get stabbed. I saw people just look at it and keep walking. I wanted somebody to come break it up, preferably the police,' jason0802 said. 'I was disgusted that this is what people were doing at a football game on a Sunday.'
