    Finally, a snow day!

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     labnamedtoby and her dog, Toby, were out in the snow this morning after a snowstorm hit their area of Fredericksburg, Virginia, on January 24, around midnight. The third grade teacher says she woke up to a message from her school saying classes were cancelled. 'This is the first snow day of the season... I'm sure my kids are definitely enjoying [it],' she said. She says for the past two days her area has been experiencing freezing temperatures, but that hasn't deterred Toby from playing in the snow. 'I tried to take him inside to get warmed up, but he wanted to stay outside and play,' she said. 'I think everyone is enjoying the snow here. We don't get a ton of it, so we enjoy it.'

    Toby is a one year old lab who woke up this morning in King George, Virginia, to his first snow this year, and he loves it!

     

    He doesn't want to come inside to warm up, even though the temperature is only 22 degrees outside. He grabbed an old plastic bucket and seems to be experimenting with what kind of fun he can have in the snow.

     

    I think we'll have to get a sled out for him later!
