    Obama's inauguration: In the crowd

    Waiting for the President

As a photographer I wanted to photograph this historical event and I also wanted my 9 year old daughter Zoe to witness and be apart of history. Since I had her with me I could not move around as I usually do so we found a spot on Freedom Plaza and waited about 3 hours for our President and his Beautiful wife Michelle to walk close enough for us to get a good look. Unfortunately, they were in the car but it was still exciting to see them as they slowly drove by. As President Obama smiled and waved to onlookers, we were still thankful he took the time to continue to please the crowd. This is apart of history that I feel I am and many more like me are so proud of.
