My Family and Breakfast
“One day, when we had a quarrel, I said what I actually want to eat for breakfast. At that point, he told me that I can cook anything as long as there is miso soup because he loves the one I make. I was moved by the words so I decided to cook miso soup for him all the time.” I was impressed the story. In addition, the heroine’s story in the movie is the same so I was really surprised.
Miso soup has a variety of ingredients. The pictures are of tofu, Japanese long green onion and deep-fried bean curd. I sometimes cook it on my own, but the taste is a little different from my mother’s. I don’t know why it is, however, I like my mother’s soup better than mine. Although I occasionally want to eat Western soup, I love my mother’s miso soup most of all. It became even more important for me after I knew this story.
