    Wintry Mix Hits the Queen City

     

    Charlotte, North Carolina is currently experiencing an usual phenomenon: the city's workers are off early on a Friday.

     

    Throughout the city business shut down due to impending inclement weather.

     

    As of 2:00pm there have been reports of light flurries, sleet, and ice -- but for these iReporters there hasn't been much.

     

    From the Gateway Village in Uptown Charlotte there is a light drizzle of rain mixed with extremely small pellets of ice.

     

    As more rain moves in we continue to hope for snow.

     

    Here's hoping from the Queen City.
