My collection of Local Kitty
Have you ever worried about buying souvenirs when you go on a trip? I recommend local Kitty (which is called “gotochi Kitty” in Japanese). Kitty is the most famous character of Sanrio and is known by people all over the world. There are various kinds of local Kitty from each city in Japan. I buy them for each trip and collect them from other cities. I will introduce my collection
One of my favorite local Kitty is from Ginza, one of the famous cities in Japan. Ginza is well-known for luxury. The local Kitty from Ginza has long legs and a cute bag which reflects a person who is in Ginza. Thus the Kitty shows special local products, buildings and so on. It is interesting for me because I can know about famous things from each city. This is one of the reasons why I collect them. There is more than one local Kitty for each prefecture in Japan, so they are worth collecting.
I found it not only in Japan but in the other countries as well. For example, local Kitty from Korea wears a chimachogori (traditional clothing from Korea) and it has a traditional knot.
We can find similar cell phone’s straps that show some special local products using other characters. I know there are many various characters in Japan. These things remind me some trip’s memory. If you have any plans for the trip, you may find them.
