    Baby, It's Cold Outside

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Miriam heard about the frozen fountain in New York City's Bryant Park on Twitter and went down to get some photos. This is one example of just how cold it has been in the city, she said. 'Everything has been freezing! If you spill coffee on the sidewalk, it will freeze in minutes. So cold. But I love cold weather and if you dress for it, it can be fun to walk around and see its effects.'

    New York City got its first real snowfall of the winter, but that's not the story. New York has experienced very little snow so far this year and this storm left only a dusting behind. But temperatures have been in the low twenties all week, with wind chills of 0 degrees farenheit on some days. I took a walk to my favorite winter spot, Bryant Park, where I captured these images of the frozen fountain.
