Manti Teo's Online Dating Hoax
In 2008 Notre Dames linebacker began an online relationship with Lennay Kekua. They continued on sending messages to each other on facebook. Eventually, they get to texting and calling each other. In 2011, an Arizona Cardinals fullback went on a charity trip for athletes. There he met a Lennay Kekua. After a while she told him that she and her boyfriend were have a tough time, and she needed him by her side. Later in 2012, he was going to fly in to Los Angeles to visit her while she take's over her father's business. However he got a call from her brother saying that she got in a car accident and was the hospital. Later she tells him that she has Leukemia. Teo's grandmother dies on September 11th, and the next day he gets a call from Kekua that she will be there for him. But a little later he gets a call from her brother saying that she's gone. Her funeral was on the same day of the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game, but he promised that he would always play football for her. However on December sixth he got a cll from him saying that she is not dead. He was furious and through a rampage. He told everyone and had no idea what to do. She told him that her real name is Leah and she will reveal the truth on January 16th. Then a man calls apologizes for the prank.
