Clashes in Cairo
Clashes continue for the third successive day in Cairo between security forces and protesters. Security forces were stationed on rooftops of buildings in Yousef El Gingy street, near Tahrir square. Security forces and protesters threw rocks and molotov cocktails at each other. Security forces also fired tear gas and birdshots at protesters. There were also clashes in Kasr El Einy street near Shura council (the upper house parliament) after security forces attacked a march heading to the council of ministers' headquarters . Hundreds were injured. Field hospitals were set in the area to provide first aid.
