    Amazing colors in the Icelandic Northern Lights

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Finnsi says the colors from the northern lights that he photographed in Akranes, Iceland, were stunning. 'When they were changing [colors] what went through my mind was that I was being drawn to [the northern lights] like a fly to a beautiful light,' he said. His image was selected as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for February 13, 2013.

    Here is a photograph of the stunning colors from the northern lights that were changing over Iceland. I'm so lucky to capture them on my camera. It's pure beauty.
