    Catfish: the Ireport

I just watched Don Lemon's special on "Catfishing."

If you are unaware of what catfishing is, it's basically when someone pretends to be someone who they are really not, online.

Have you ever been catfished? It happens more than you think. A lot of people pretend to be what they wish they were online. Some ireporters probably are catfishers. I know some are.

How do you really know a person if you haven't met them in person? I don't think you really can.

Naive, lonely and hurt people are very susceptible to this but so also are other personalities.

It's embarrassing and humiliating for some to admit to being duped by someone who has deceived them. By someone they trusted and loved. Who can blame them?

I hope you haven't been taken advantage by a catfisher. If you think you have, do some research.

    Good luck!

btw, I have a little crush on Nev who got duped on facebook. He made a movie about it and now has an MTV show "Catfish the TV Show."

Interesting study of the human condition.

    Thanks for reading!
