Okinawa's Hidden Beauty - Stained Glass Bridge
For example this bridge, located in Kitamae on a road which runs parallel to the very busy Route 58, is a sight to be seen. Along either side is a structure which reminds me of a cathedral. In the center is a dome shaped stain glass mural featuring some of the things that makes Okinawa beautiful; the sea, the sky and flowers.
There are many other places like this bridge hiding throughout Okinawa. Some are obvious others need a keen eye to spot. Finding these gems is part of the joy of living in Okinawa so if you find yourself here don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for what surprises Okinawa has in store.
