Coast Guard drive golf cart across America forgetting rape survivors?

This is in reference to: "Off-duty Coast Guard members to drive golf cart across USA for Wounded Warriors"

What they are doing is great. What I would like to know if they are willing to help spread awareness for the rape epidemic in the United States Coast Guard as well since military sexual trauma is the most common reason that a Coast Guardsman becomes a "wounded warrior?"?

With the Academy-award nominated film about the rape epidemic in the US Coast Guard called The Invisible War and since the Military Rape Crisis Center was started by a Coast Guardsman I think that Chief Rehberg would raise a lot more money and support for the Wounded Warrior Project if he would speak out about the rape epidemic in the US Coast Guard.

I know that the Wounded Warrior Project does amazing work for Coast Guard rape survivors and all military sexual trauma survivors so its a natural fit if you can focus on the amazing things that they do to help rape survivors since it is so much more prevalent in the US Coast Guard. Let be honest here even though combat and such is open to some Coast Guards members most in the Coast Guard that are suffering from PTSD is doing so from rape and not combat.

Even though I am just a civilian when I hear about the rape epidemic I cringe and pray each day that our men and women in the Coast Guard can one day serve without the risk of sexual abuse.
