    Armored security vehicle stolen by Protesters

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Egyptian Seif1976 was in a crowd of thousands of protesters in and around Cairo's Tahrir Square on Monday night, marching against the imposition of emergency law by President Mohamed Morsy and his decision to impose a curfew on several cities hit by clashes between pro- and anti-government protesters and police. The images show a police armored vehicle that became trapped between protesters and the resulting fire after marchers seized the vehicle and burned it. "About 10 protesters were on top of the vehicle, they took it into Tahrir [Square] and burned it down," he said. "At that point we all felt like we had accomplished something rather than just inhale insane amounts of teargas." Egypt has been rocked by scores of violent protests over the past few months, leading to comments by the nation's defence minister, Gen. Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, that the conflict "may lead to the collapse of the state and threaten the future of ... coming generations". Read the latest story on the violence in Egypt .

    Today after three days of clashes between protesters and police across the nation, where protesters across the nation have been subjected to excessive use of Tear Gas and in some cases live ammo. the spirits of protesters in Tahrir was boosted today by the capture of two CSF armored vehicles from clashes close to Tahrir, One of the vehicles was driven by protesters inside Tahrir and burnt down in defiance following Morsi's latest speech where he threatened protesters with the use of excessive force and the issuance of a state of emergency and curfew in three key cities in Egypt.
