My name is Kinda Haddad, a Lebanese Citizen and raised in the U.S. got married to Lebanese for 18 years, gave him the green card then citizen and helped him through school, then left my home (US) my family and career, so he can follow his dream and build his career. Lived with him in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and finally in Lebanon. After few months of living in Lebanon, he put a banned on my kids and myself, not allowing us to leave the country. The American Embassy could not do anything to help because there is no threaty between the two countries. I was physically abused, verbally and emotionally in front of our three kids. If I tried to leave the country and was caught i would be put in Jail and never get to see my kids again. Woman there have no rights, they can not leave without the husband permission. After lots of fights, he agreed to let me leave with my children under his condition. He drafted a contract and had me sign it, staying that am not allowed to date or get married or he will take the kids. That he has to stay with us in the house when he visit the kids, that am not allowed to file for divorce in the States. I hired an attorney to represent me and it cost me 20,000 to get a divorce paper and to set the contract aside. I would like the world to know my story. This is person Dr. Elias Maroun, my Ex is running for political figure in Lebanon, owns two companies and refuses to pay child support and take care of his children.
