    30 Rock gets a Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor

    Just saw on the news that Tina Fey's soon to be history television series has gotten its own Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor.

    Well done and well deserved!

    I love 30 Rock although not being a big tv nut I haven't seen even a fraction of the shows. But Tina Fey is one of the funniest comedians ever!

    I know conservatives hate her for her perfect interpretation/imitation of Sarah Palin on SNL. That made her a household name.

    I went trolling through the biography section of my local library last week and clung onto Tina Fey's autobiography "Bossypants" when I found it in one of my favorite sections. I am half way through it. What a read! I have laughed out loud more than 7 times!!!

    She is such a kick. I told my 24 year old son today how funny she is and I grabbed the book to share something that provoked a spontaneous belly laugh from me. But he told me "she's not funny."

    What? Yep, my son thinks Tina Fey doesn't have a funny bone in her body.

    I was dumbfounded. He wouldn't even let me read some excerpts so I could prove him wrong.

    Oh well, just goes to show how different we all are. Even our own.

    My folks met at 30 Rock (30 Rockefeller Center) in the early 50's when my dad was the mail boy at NBC and my mom was a tour guide at Rockefeller Plaza. Must have been fun times.

    I love Tina Fey, her writers and the actors in her show. Her book is funny and I relate to her life, although I'm older. I love 30 Rock and might have to devote myself to watching all the reruns I can. What genius!

    I can't wait to try the ice cream. They are not revealing the flavors until after the 1 hour finale of 30 Rock on Thursday. I am planning to tune in.

    Thanks Tina. I am still deciding on what to shout out to you if I ever run into you. So many choices! lol
