I took in a young man who grew up with my kids and was in their class. He was brought here by his [parents as a child I think around 5 years old. He is polite, respectful, hard working, helpful around the house. My twins have joined the Navy and this young man would like to also. He sees that this would be a great opportunity for him to gain citizenship and a learn a trade for a better future for himself. He also feels that to serve this country would be will worth what he would be gaining. So far the recruiter is giving us the run around. This is a good kid who has never been in trouble and because he was brought as a child he has no real knowledge of living in Mexico, he is really more American and I feel he deserves a shot at being able to achieve his goal. Senator Mark Udall knows of our situation and is willing to help. So we are waiting with baited breath for the Dream Act to pass this time.
