For over a month now the media has blamed every shooting on the the infamous AR-15. Imagine my shock today when i learned of conflicting reports that the Sandy Hook shooting DID NOT involve this civilian weapon system.The shooter used four semi-automatic pistols, the AR-15 was discovered in the shooters vehicle. IT WAS NOT USED INSIDE THE SCHOOL. We have been lied to by social media, and various elements of the CNN staff, i.e. Piers Morgan. It appears as though this tragedy is being used to push an anti firearms agenda, and i for one am quite irate. These "correspondents", and "political pundits" are passing off nonsense as fact, and people are buying into it. I am a disabled Iraq War combat veteran, and this sickens me. I see nothing but anti "assault" weapons marches and the like, when it was never used. Senator Feinstein's "enough is enough" firearms bill is a joke, and it is time for responsible firearms owners to stand up for their rights. If Senator Feinstein does not like these types of firearms than ban them in her state, oh wait, they already are. If Piers Morgan does not like them then he can leave, i preferred Larry King anyways. This is America and we have this thing called a constitution protecting us, and if you do not like it, than TOO BAD. I fought for this nation, i took an oath to defend the Constitution, from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. It is high time that the citizens of this country stand up and say enough to this B.S. being passed off as facts. I am not a straw man, nor am i a member of the NRA. I do not blame problems on Xbox or Weapons dealers. I agree that the Government should enforce laws that are already on the books, and i believe in Universal Background checks. Banning beta and charlie mags are a good idea as well. But that is where i draw the line. Banning 30 round mags for semi-automatic rifles, along with collapsible stocks and fore end grips will do nothing to alter the violent society we find ourselves in these days. It is time for people to remove their heads from the sand, grow up and be responsible like any citizen should. Lock your firearms up, (buy a safe, or at least a trigger lock), and keep the keys on your person. If you do not like firearms then don't be around them, that's your right, but don't push some feel good agenda on me because i own a weapon you disapprove of. I say we stand up for OUR rights as citizens of this great nation. Now, who's with me?
