    Midtown Atlanta Flooding 1/30/13

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter tbatl shot this video from the streets of Midtown Atlanta. A 1,000-mile-long storm system pounded communities across the state of Georgia on Wednesday, unleashing heavy amounts of rain, strong winds and tornado warnings/watches for various GA counties. CNN's Severe Weather team will continue to provide updates on storm activity throughout the day.

Atlanta fire officials warn that flood waters can contain chemicals, sewage and harmful bacteria. There is also the danger that standing water could conceal sharp objects or even downed power lines. There's also a risk that you could drown. Please be careful and don't put yourself in a risky situation.
    - Echerneff, CNN iReport producer

Near the intersection of 11th and Piedmont and Midtown Atlanta, sewers were blowing man-holes off and spewing water upwards. Parking deck flooded, floating dumpsters, and hills turned into rushing streams
